The usual obstacle to a branded range is not the unit price, it is a minimum applied per variant. Here the 100-unit minimum applies per customised style, and most lines allow colours, sizes and finishes to be mixed within it.
What the minimum covers
100 units per customised style - your colour, your logo, your size. On most products that quantity can be split across colours and sizes, with the ratio confirmed before production.
Where it is higher
Deeper ODM changes that need their own tooling carry a 500-unit minimum: a new handle profile on the leather serving tray, a new closure on the time-tanned notebook cover.
Samples before committing
Standard models are sampled at twice the unit price, refunded against the order, in 7-10 working days. Custom samples are quoted on design complexity.
Mixed logo processes
Menu holders can be produced with embossing on part of the order and gilding on the rest, at the same 100-unit minimum, for operators whose rooms have different registers.
