Genuine 304 or 316 stainless steel material
The same letter in four finishes is four different signs. This is what the workshop can put on a surface.
Brushed — a directional grain, horizontal or vertical, that hides handling marks. Satin — a softer, less directional sheen. Polished and mirror — a reflective face that shows the building back at you and needs a very clean substrate to look right.
Stainless steel can be electroplated to a golden tone; brass stock can be plated to a bronze. Plating goes on after the letter is fabricated and dressed, so the joint has to be right before it starts.
Two-pack polyurethane, sprayed to a PMS or RAL reference that you supply. This is the route for a brand color on aluminum, acrylic, PVC or stainless.
Satin anodizing is listed for aluminum. Brushed brass is listed with a clear coat, which slows the patina without hiding the grain.

3mm or 5mm or 10mm or 20mm solid aluminum material
Brushed. The directional grain swallows fingerprints and light scuffs, which matters on any sign within reach of the public.
Send the PMS or RAL code. Faces are sprayed in two-pack polyurethane to that reference. Do not send a photograph of a swatch — screens misrepresent color.
Electroplating is a surface layer, so it is not indestructible, but it is applied after the letter is fabricated and dressed and it gives the look of a gilded letter with the maintenance profile of stainless steel.
