Hospitality lettering is judged at arm's length as much as from the driveway, so the finish and the joint quality matter more than the size.
Reception and porte-cochère lettering is read from a meter away. That rules out a rough solder line or a plated finish that has gone patchy. Fabricated builds are soldered and finished before plating, and brass and bronze letters can be clear-coated where you want to slow the patina rather than let it develop.
A plated golden finish on 304 or 316 stainless gives the look of a gilded letter with the maintenance profile of stainless steel. Brushed and polished variants both plate well; brushed hides fingerprints better on a door-height sign.
Halo builds use a stainless face over a frosted acrylic back, pinned off the wall. In a lobby the effect is a soft outline rather than a lit block, which sits better against stone and timber than a frontlit letter does.

Uncoated brass and copper will patinate. Where the specification lists a clear coat, that slows it considerably; tell us at quotation stage which way you want it to age.
Yes — the same artwork can be built in, for example, plated gold stainless inside and 316 stainless outside. Both are cut from the same vector file so the geometry matches.
Normal production is 5–7 days, then about 4 days in transit by DHL or UPS express. Build float in for artwork approval before that clock starts.
