Interior lettering has an easier life than a façade, which opens up thinner stock, flat-cut builds and acrylic — and makes the fixing method the main decision.
Indoors you rarely need the depth of a fabricated letter. Flat-cut letters — cut solid from plate, water-jet for brass and stainless, CNC router for aluminum and acrylic — give a clean face and a crisp edge at a fraction of the cost of a built-up letter.
Reception walls are usually plaster, glass or stone and nobody wants a grid of visible fixings. Back screw pins hold the letter off the surface on a shadow gap; double-sided adhesive suits lighter letters on a smooth, sound surface. A 1:1 template comes with every set so the installer can dry-lay the wordmark before committing.
Solid acrylic in 5mm, 10mm, 20mm or 30mm, sprayed in two-pack polyurethane to a PMS code, reads well indoors and weighs almost nothing — which matters on a partition wall.
