A great deal of working equipment still runs the sealed beam head lamp it left the factory with, drawing heavy current for a dim yellow beam and needing replacement every season. LED head lights swap into those apertures and cut the current draw substantially, which matters on machines with marginal charging systems.

How It Compares
Compared with a sealed beam replacement, an LED head light costs more up front and stops being a consumable. Compared with an auxiliary driving light, a head light is the primary lamp and has to produce a regulated low beam cutoff, not just throw.

LED Head Light FAQ
Will an LED head light fit my machine?
Send the aperture dimensions, the format (round or oval) and a photo of the connector. We carry several formats across the range.
Do I need a load resistor?
Some vehicles monitor lamp current and report a fault when the draw drops. Tell us the vehicle and we will advise whether a resistor is required.
Is the low beam cutoff regulated?
Models supplied for road use are E-mark approved, which covers the beam pattern. Machinery lamps intended for off-road work may not carry the same approval, so confirm the model before you specify it for a road vehicle.
Can I run these on a 24V truck?
Voltage range is confirmed per model. Tell us whether the machine is 12V, 24V or both and we will quote the matching version.
