Fixed Installation Screen Projects
A fixed screen is a building element, not a purchase. The pitch, the cabinet size and the service side all have to be settled before the steelwork is fabricated, because none of them can be changed afterwards. This is how MASTARLED works through a fixed installation project from the first drawing to the wall that is switched on.
Every Step and the Problem It Prevents
Site and Viewing Distance Review
What goes wrong: Pitch gets chosen from a budget line rather than from how close people actually stand, so the wall either looks coarse or costs far more than the site needs.
How we handle it: We start from the closest normal viewing position and the wall dimensions. Indoor options run from 0.9mm and 1.25mm fine pitch through the 3 to 6mm Block Indoor Series; outdoor runs from 2.5mm through the 3.076 to 10mm Block Series.
Service Access Decision
What goes wrong: A rear-service cabinet is specified and then the building turns out to have no walkable space behind the screen.
How we handle it: We confirm the depth behind the mounting surface before quoting. Where there is none we specify front maintenance cabinets: the 58mm indoor fixed cabinets, or Outdoor Fixed With Front Service which is serviceable from both faces.
Cabinet Layout and Structure
What goes wrong: The cabinet size does not divide into the opening, so the wall ends on a part cabinet or the aspect ratio does not match the source.
How we handle it: The layout is drawn to a standard cabinet: 640x480mm indoor fixed, 960x960mm outdoor, or 960x640mm, 1440x960mm and 1440x640mm on the front service outdoor product. The 16:9 product is laid out so the wall maps onto a 2K, 4K or 8K source.
Environmental Specification
What goes wrong: An outdoor screen is bought on brightness alone and then fails on water ingress, heat or salt air.
How we handle it: Outdoor Fixed With Front Service is IP65 on both faces with aviation-grade connectors and needs no cooling enclosure. Coastal and perimeter sites use the anti-salt outdoor products, and the perimeter cabinet is rated from minus 15 to 55 degrees Celsius.
Production and Factory Build
What goes wrong: Cabinets arrive from different production batches and the finished wall shows brightness steps between them.
How we handle it: Modules go through SMT placement, reflow soldering, soldering inspection, auto drying and a module ageing test, then the cabinets for the project are built up as a complete wall on the assembling line.
Screen Installation and Ageing Test
What goes wrong: Faults appear after the wall is already fixed to the building, when access is at its most expensive.
How we handle it: The assembled wall runs a screen installation test and a screen ageing test in the factory before it is dismantled, so early-life failures happen in Shenzhen rather than on the customer site.
Packing and Shipment
What goes wrong: Cabinets are damaged in transit or arrive without the spares needed to commission.
How we handle it: Cabinets are packed by wall position with spare modules, receiving cards and power supplies in the same shipment. Documented deliveries have reached sixteen countries outside China.
Commissioning and After Sales
What goes wrong: The integrator is left to work out the cabinet map and the control configuration alone.
How we handle it: The wall map from the factory build is supplied with the shipment, and questions during commissioning go straight to the team on WhatsApp or email rather than through a ticket queue.

How early should the screen supplier be involved in a building project?
Before the support steelwork is fabricated. Cabinet size, service side and fixing centres all come from the screen, and changing them later means rebuilding the structure.
Can you work from an architect's elevation drawing?
Yes. Send the elevation and section on WhatsApp or by email and we will come back with a cabinet layout that divides cleanly into the opening.
Do you test the whole wall before shipping?
Yes. The cabinets for the project are assembled into the full wall in the factory and run through a screen installation test and a screen ageing test before they are packed.
What if the building has no space behind the screen?
Then the project is specified with front maintenance cabinets, so modules and power supplies are pulled from the viewing side.
