Dental Microscope

An operating microscope for dental work combining documentation and optics in one stand. A Sony image sensor records 4K at 30fps with static images up to 12MP (4000 x 3000), controlled from a mobile app, wireless remote, tablet or PC and stored on a TF card up to 128GB. The optics use 12.5X eyepieces with an 18mm aperture, 3.6X-23X zoom at a 250mm focal length and objective lens options between 200-400mm, with LED illumination above 80,000 lux at 6500K and yellow (CB550) and green filters. The stand uses a 460mm radius swing arm with 360° rotation and a 700mm radius microscope arm with ±315mm up and down motion on a standard mobile base.

Specifications are configured per project. Send your drawing, capacity or duty requirement and the build will be confirmed in writing with the quotation.
Why It Works

Key Benefits

4K recording at 30fps captures the procedure for case records and teaching without a separate camera rig

Binocular inclination adjustable from 0°-210° lets the operator keep a neutral posture through a long procedure

Objective lens options between 200-400mm set the working distance to the clinician rather than fixing it

Wireless data transfer to a PC removes the card handling step between appointments

A mobile base moves the microscope between operatories instead of tying it to one room

Problems

Problems It Solves

Separate cameras and microscopes complicate setup and lose the operator view

Fixed inclination forces a clinician into an awkward posture over long appointments

A single objective lens limits how the clinician can be positioned

Manual file transfer between the microscope and the practice PC takes time between patients
