Every SS-X9010D Pro-3DE we ship is processed through our Shanghai refurbishment facility — the same QC discipline we apply to Korean imports, adapted for MEYER-specific firmware and components.

Sourcing & Inspection

Units sourced from Chinese private clinics, dental chains and public hospitals — mostly 2019–2023 vintage units being replaced during upgrade cycles. Initial inspection rules out units with tube failure, water damage, or impact trauma.

Mechanical & Electrical

Rotational drive, motorized column, cable chains and sensor arm motion verified. Both panoramic and cephalometric sensor assemblies checked for alignment and pixel defect mapping. Positioning accessories replaced with new parts.

X-ray output calibrated against IEC 60336 focal spot standard. kV/mA accuracy verified across the full 50–90 kV / 2–10 mA range. All 8 FOV programs tested via phantom scans; pano + ceph + CBCT modes individually validated.

04 Multi-FOV Selection

The Pro-3DE offers eight distinct FOV options — covering single-tooth endodontic detail at one extreme and full-face orthognathic planning at the other. Matching FOV size to clinical need keeps patient dose to a minimum.

GROUP 01 Endodontic detail 3.4 × 3.4 cm — Endo

Single-tooth isolation for endodontic imaging — root canal anatomy, apical pathology, vertical fractures, missed canals. At this FOV size you get the highest-resolution voxels (70 μm) and the lowest patient dose.

GROUP 02 Localized imaging 5 × 8 cm 8 × 10 cm

Specific-region imaging — quadrant implant planning, third molar assessment, impacted canine, suspected cyst or tumor. Lower dose than full-arch volume when you don't need the full arch.

GROUP 03 Standard dental arch 12 × 8 cm 12 × 10 cm 13 × 10 cm

The day-to-day clinical volumes. Full upper or lower arch including TMJ condyles, bilateral mandibular canals and maxillary sinus floors — everything an implant or oral surgery case typically needs.

GROUP 04 Wide-field / full face 15 × 10.5 cm 16 × 10 cm

Full-arch plus condyle-to-condyle coverage. Essential for orthognathic surgical planning, bilateral TMJ comparison, airway volumetric assessment and sinus pathology that extends beyond the standard volume.

Minimized motion artifact

Chin rest, bite block, and ear-clip / forehead support combine to immobilize the patient head at three points — reducing motion blur and the need for re-scans. Particularly important for children and elderly patients.

Standing / seated / wheelchair

Patient accessibility

Motorized column adjustment covers standing and seated patient positioning. U-arm geometry and adjustable height make wheelchair-bound patient scanning practical without requiring transfer.

Dedicated child mode reduces kVp, mA and exposure time from adult defaults — following ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) dose principles for pediatric imaging. Important for orthodontic practices.

Dual-level laser alignment

Accurate positioning

Horizontal and sagittal laser positioning guides with dual-level adjustment — positions the patient at the anatomical reference before exposure, reducing re-takes and dose.

What warranty and support do you provide? +

12 months parts warranty on the main gantry and both detectors (front + lateral) from installation. During warranty we supply replacement parts free (buyer covers shipping) and provide 24/7 remote diagnostic support via TeamViewer or AnyDesk. We stock common MEYER spare parts in Shanghai for fast dispatch. Extended warranty available.

Do I need the cephalometric arm? +

The Pro-3DE is available in both configurations. The cephalometric arm adds about 815 mm to the width and 40–45 kg to the weight — and is valuable if you handle orthodontics, orthognathic cases or sleep-apnea airway analysis. If you don't do these workflows, the without-ceph version saves room space and about 15% on the unit price. Tell us which configuration fits when you inquire and we'll price accordingly.

Can I register this unit in my country? +

Regulations for Chinese-origin refurbished medical devices vary significantly. MEYER products are sold worldwide, but registration is jurisdiction-specific. We provide the full technical file, original product documentation, bill of lading and certificate of origin to support your local registration process. Installation and training? +

Remote installation support is included. Our engineers guide your local technician via video call — physical assembly, software installation, calibration verification, and operator training on the MEYER software. Standard installation takes 1–2 days with remote support. On-site installation by our engineers is available at extra cost (flight, accommodation, daily rate) for those who prefer hands-on setup.
