Match Output to the Job
In our range a 6.5W accent head delivers 500 lumens and replaces a 50W halogen spot. The 13.5W heads deliver 680 lumens with a COB reflector optic or 930 lumens with a zoom optic. The 20W linear head delivers 1200 lumens along a line rather than in a pool. Pick by the area to be covered rather than by the wattage on the box.
Beam Angle Decides How the Display Reads
A 24 degree beam puts light on the object and keeps it off the wall, which is what accent lighting needs. A zoomable head covering 24 to 60 degrees can be a spot or a wash depending on how it is set, which is useful in stores that reset their layout. For tighter work, a spotlight zooming from 15 to 45 degrees goes narrower than a standard track head.
CRI Is Not Optional in Retail
Colour rendering decides whether merchandise looks like the catalogue photograph. Our zoomable heads run at CRI 90 and the linear head runs above CRI 90, which is the level at which fabric colour and skin tone stop shifting under the light.
