What This Category Is For

These four bags are built on a different principle from the sewn range. Nylon in 420D to 840D is laminated to a TPU waterproof membrane, a PP board keeps the shape, and the seams are high-frequency welded rather than stitched. The waterproof triangle bag goes further and uses three different fabric weights, putting 840D on the bottom where wear happens.

The Problem It Solves

A sewn seam has a needle hole every few millimetres. Coating the fabric does not fix that. Welding fuses the panels together, which is the only way a fabric bag is actually waterproof.

What does high frequency welding do?

It fuses the TPU-coated panels together with no stitching, so there are no needle holes for water to track through.

Why does the triangle bag use three fabrics?
