Super Light CNC Seat Clamp with Titanium Bolt
16 grams of AL6061 holding a seatpost that does not slip
What It Is and Who It Is For
A CNC machined seat clamp in AL6061 with a titanium bolt, weighing 16 grams with a 12 mm body height. It is available for 31.8 mm and 34.9 mm seat tubes.

Why Buyers Choose This Part
Machined, not cast
A machined AL6061 body holds its round and clamps evenly, which is what stops a post slipping.
Titanium bolt
Does not seize into the aluminium body the way a steel bolt does, and saves weight at the same time.
16 grams
A 12 mm tall body with no more material than the clamping job needs.
Problems It Solves
- Cast clamps flex and let the seatpost sink under a heavy rider
- Steel bolts corrode into an aluminium clamp body
- A clamp sized wrong for the seat tube will never hold properly

- Brands finishing a frame with a matched clamp
- Workshops replacing a cast clamp that has rounded out

Compared With the Alternatives
Against a quick release clamp this is lighter and less likely to be stolen, but it needs a tool to adjust. Against a cast clamp of the same size it is lighter and clamps more evenly.
Customisation and Manufacturing
Machined parts are cut from solid bar on the CNC side of the Shiyan Town plant. Alloy, tolerance and anodised colour are all specified at drawing stage, and the mark is usually lasered rather than printed so it survives handling and solvent.
- Alloy and tolerance built to your drawing
- Laser marking or engraving on the anodised surface
- Anodised colour matched to an approved sample
- Polybag, card or colour box packing
Fitting and Living With It
Step 1
Measure the frame seat tube outside diameter, not the seatpost, to choose between 31.8 mm and 34.9 mm.
Step 2
Grease the bolt threads, not the seatpost.
Step 3
Tighten gradually. A light clamp does not need and should not get high torque.
Step 4
If the post still slips, check for a burr or paint ridge inside the seat tube before adding torque.
