How This Runs From Enquiry to Delivery
Application review
We start from the application area and the mechanical properties the product has to reach, not from a grade name.
Grade recommendation
Where the customer has not fixed a grade, our engineers advise one. For forgings our metallurgical experts can develop customised alloys to meet unique requirements.
Heat treatment planning
The delivery condition is agreed: forged, normalised, rough machined, quenched or tempered, or stress relieved for cold drawn profiles.
Machining sequence
Machining is scheduled around heat treatment so the part does not move after delivery.
Verification
Testing confirms the condition before the parts ship.
