What This Product Is
A whip light exists so that something low and fast can be seen over a rise. On a mine site that is a safety requirement; in the dunes it is the same requirement with colour modes added. The engineering problem is identical in both cases: the whip gets bent flat at speed thousands of times, so the failure point is the base fitting and the wire entry, not the LEDs.

Comparison
How It Compares
Against a plain single colour safety whip, an RGB whip does the same visibility job and adds the colour modes the recreational market expects. Against a flag pole, a lit whip works at night, which is when visibility actually matters. Mine sites often specify a fixed colour, so check the site rules before ordering RGB.

- Leave a service loop in the cable below the base fitting

What lengths are available?
Several lengths are in production. Tell us the mounting height and whether the vehicle has to meet a site visibility rule, and we will recommend a length.
Are these acceptable on a mine site?
Site rules vary and many specify a fixed colour and a minimum height. Check your site standard first; we can supply fixed colour whips where RGB is not permitted.
How are the colours controlled?
Remote and app control are available depending on the model. Confirm the control method when you quote, since it affects the part number.
Will the whip survive being bent flat?
The core is designed to recover from repeated deflection. The base fitting is the part that needs periodic inspection on any whip, ours included.
