COB strip replaces discrete SMD packages with a continuous phosphor layer, so the lit line looks solid rather than like a row of dots. In a vehicle or a boat cabin that difference is obvious, because the strip is usually mounted within arm’s reach of the occupant and often behind a diffuser that is too shallow to blend an SMD strip.

Can I cut the strip to length?
Yes, at the marked cutting intervals. Cutting between the marks breaks the circuit for that segment. The exact interval is confirmed per model.
Is it waterproof?
Ingress protection depends on the coating specified. Tell us whether the strip is going into a dry cabin, a wet locker or an exterior position and we will quote the right version.
