What Happens At Each Point And Why

Each stage below names the problem first and our answer second, because the answer only means something once the problem is stated plainly.

Stage 01

The Problem: Resin that has absorbed moisture in an open plant produces streaks and weak parts.
How We Solve It: Material handling for clean room work is kept inside the controlled area rather than carried in from general plant storage.

Stage 02

The Problem: Clean parts molded in a dirty environment are only clean until the next shift.
How We Solve It: Clean room molding runs in the ISO 8 area, alongside an automated molding workshop and conventional cells for non critical parts.

Stage 03

The Problem: Checking only the first and last part of a run hides everything that happened between.
How We Solve It: In process dimensional checks run through the shift, not only at the ends of it.

Stage 04

The Problem: A part molded in a clean room and bagged in the corridor has gained nothing.
How We Solve It: Clean room parts are bagged inside the same controlled area they were molded in.

Stage 05

The Problem: A shipment that cannot be traced back to a cavity cannot be investigated.
How We Solve It: Every lot carries its tool and machine record in our ERP system.

ISO 8, described on our original site as a Class 100000 injection molding workshop with a cleaner area alongside it.

Do you sterilise parts?

No. Sterilisation is not carried out here, so clean room parts ship non sterile.
