QK8521, an EVA wax emulsion, and QK8330, a polyamide salt. QK8521 needs system pH raised to 9-9.5 before addition; QK8330 is slightly acidic and pre-blends with water at 4:1.
Which sag control agent works in clearcoat?
906S, with structure below 10 microns and 58-62% solids.
Does a sag control agent change the isocyanate ratio?
908R does. It carries an OH value of 100 mg KOH/g on solids and should be included in the NCO/OH calculation. 904R and 906S are not hydroxy functional.
