Jiangxi Huasheng Insulators Co., Ltd. was established in November 2017 and makes toughened glass suspension insulators at Luxi Industrial Park in Pingxiang, Jiangxi, China.
Where We Are And Why It Matters
The plant sits at the Luxi junction of the Shanghai-Kunming Expressway and Provincial Highway Hu-Rui G320. For a glass product that ships by the container, road access to the expressway network is the difference between a clean run to the port and an extra day of handling on local roads. Customers who want to inspect before they buy can reach the site from Pingxiang without a long transfer.
What We Actually Build
One product family, made deep rather than wide. Cap and pin toughened glass suspension insulators for overhead lines and substations, in standard, fog and aerodynamic shed profiles, covering strength classes from U40B at 40 kN through U500B at 550 kN. Huasheng supplies insulators for systems up to 500 kV AC and 400 kV DC.
Designs To The Standard Your Specification Names
Huasheng builds strictly to GB, ANSI, BS, DIN, AS and IEC standard designs for power transmission lines and substations. A tender written around LXP-160 and one written around U160BL describe the same unit under two standards, and both are produced against the published dimensional and electrical table rather than an in-house approximation.
OEM And Private Label
Our engineers provide OEM service to meet varying customer needs and help customers develop their own markets. Units can be private labelled with the buyer brand, and products can be customised. Distributors who carry a full line fittings catalogue use this to keep one marking convention across suspension insulators, clamps and hardware.

Huasheng manufacturing facilities hold the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certificate, the ISO 14001:2015 Environment Management System certificate and the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certificate. For utility prequalification these three are usually the first documents a procurement team asks a new glass supplier to produce.
Where Our Units Are Installed
Huasheng products are exported to more than 40 countries, among them Canada, the United States, Ecuador, Argentina, Australia, the United Kingdom, Italy, Viet Nam, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, Lebanon, South Africa and Egypt. Those markets span salt fog coastlines, tropical monsoon, high desert and hard winter, and the products have performed well across that range of environments.
What Happens Between Glass Batch And Container
Cap and pin assembly. Glass shells, galvanised caps and pins are cemented and racked for curing before mechanical and electrical routine tests.
Glass Melting And Forming
Shells are pressed from molten glass to the shed profile the class calls for, then checked for form and thickness.
Thermal Toughening
Shells pass through the toughening tunnel so the surface goes into compression. This is what makes a failed unit shatter instead of crack quietly.
Thermal Shock Check
Toughened shells are thermally cycled so units carrying internal stress break in the plant rather than on the tower.
Cap And Pin Cementing
Galvanised cap and pin are cemented to the shell and racked for cure, as shown in the workshop photograph above.
Routine Mechanical Test
Every unit is proof loaded in tension to the routine test value published in the specification table for its class.
Electrical Routine Test
Units are checked against the power frequency and impulse values listed for the class before release.
Marking And Packing
Units are marked with class and year, then packed for the destination and transport mode agreed on the order.
