Fog Free Bathroom LED Mirror Model HQ004
HQ004 is the fog free model. A heated pad behind the glass keeps the mirror surface above the dew point, so the guest has a clear mirror immediately after a shower instead of a wiped smear.
What This Model Is For
Fogging is the complaint that reaches the front desk. In a compact hotel bathroom with a shower close to the vanity, an untreated mirror is unusable for several minutes after every shower, and guests wipe it with a towel that then leaves streaks.
HQ004 solves that with a defogger pad bonded behind the mirror, an acrylic diffuser for even light output and the same anti-rust aluminium structure used across the range.

5mm environmental silver mirror with a fingerprint-proof frosted panel. No copper and no lead in the coating, so the silver edge does not creep or corrode in a wet bathroom.
Shatter Proof Safety Backing
Safety backing film is bonded to the rear of the glass, so a broken mirror stays in one piece instead of falling into a guest bathroom.
Powder Coated Anti Rust Frame
Strong powder coating adhesion on the aluminium body. The coating does not flake off the metal and the metal does not rust.
Structural Bonding
High strength adhesive and a rigid aluminium structure hold the glass, the light box and the mounting plate together as one assembly.
Easy Installation System
A wall plate is fixed first, then the mirror is hung on it. One installer can set a mirror without a second pair of hands on site.

Manufacturing Process
Glass cutting and edge work, frosting of the light band, aluminium body fabrication and powder coating, LED and driver assembly, structural bonding, cleaning of every surface, then electrical test, load bearing test and final inspection before packing.
Quality Control
Each mirror is inspected before assembly and tested before packing. The mounting system is load bearing tested. Zero complaints is the goal the line is measured against.

Installing and Living With It
Confirm the circuit can carry the defogger as well as the mirror before first fix; the defogger is a separate heated element.
Fix the wall plate, connect the driver and the defogger, then hang the mirror.
Run the defogger for a few minutes at commissioning and check the clear zone spreads evenly.
Clean with a soft cloth only. The defogger pad is behind the glass and needs no maintenance.

How long does the defogger take to clear the mirror?
The heated area is kept above the dew point while it is powered, so the mirror stays clear rather than clearing afterwards. Switching is normally tied to the mirror light or a separate switch, depending on your specification.
Does the whole mirror stay clear or only part of it?
The clear zone follows the defogger pad. The pad size is set against your drawing, so tell us the mirror size and the area you want kept clear.
Can a defogger be added to other models?
Yes. Anti-fog is an option across the range, including the framed models and the lit medicine cabinets.
Is the defogger covered by the warranty?
