Shanghai Hicon Industrial Co., Ltd has focused on performance socks and underwear since 2009. What began in performance footwear has become a multi-category supply chain covering performance socks, merino wool base layers, seamless sportswear, ski gloves and knitted headwear for outdoor brands in Europe and the Americas.

HICON is not a single factory selling its own capacity. We manage a network of long-term partner factories, each vetted for the specific technology a category needs, and we run the development, the certification route and the inspections across all of them. For a brand, that means one team to talk to for socks, gloves and base layers instead of three.

Our partner factories are rigorously vetted and certified with BSCI, GRS and RWS standards, and every single order undergoes mandatory mid-term and final inspections by the HICON team before shipment. The mid-term inspection is the one that matters most, because it catches problems while they can still be fixed.
Sustainability As Core DNA
We specialise in technical yarns including merino wool, hemp and recycled fibres. Those are working materials rather than a marketing line, which is why the certification sits with us: Intertek GRS 4.0 and RWS 2.2 scope certificates held by Shanghai Hicon Industrial Co., Ltd cover socks and hosiery in recycled polyester and responsible wool blends.
Designed For The Elements
From the moisture management of merino base layers to the shin padding on a ski sock and the one-pull wrist buckle on a kids glove, the products are specified around how they are actually used. Hiking, skiing and high-intensity training each break a garment differently, and the construction decisions follow from that.
