Pack format decides shelf fit, portion cost and how much product a container actually carries. This is how formats are selected here and how a mixed container is put together.

Each step names the problem first, then what we do about it.
Retail Formats
Retail size is set by the local shelf, not by the factory's default can.
Mushroom retail tins run 184G, 198G, 284G, 400G and 800G at 24 tins per carton. Vegetable and bean retail tins run 340G and 425G. Fruit retail tins run 410G and 820G.
Catering Formats
Catering buyers need batch-size packs that still portion predictably.
Mushroom and vegetable catering tins are 2840G and 2500G at 6 tins per carton. Fruit catering tins are 3000G and 2650G at 6 tins per carton.
Glass Jars
Premium and delicatessen tiers need glass, which many canneries do not run alongside tins.
Jars run 314ML, 330ML oval, 550ML oval, 370ML, 580ML, 720ML, 1062ML and 1700ML, packed 12 or 6 to a carton depending on size.
Packing Medium
The liquid in the can changes both the taste and the drained weight.
Water, brine, marinade, syrup and juice are all available depending on the product, with fruit brix set at 11 to 14, 14 to 17 or 18 to 22 percent.
Mixing the Container
Single-line containers force an importer to hold stock that turns slowly.
Mushroom, fruit and vegetable lines are produced on one site, so several lines are loaded into one container against a single order.

New listings do not start at 20 tons.
Quotes are based on 1 x 20 foot FCL, and LCL consolidation is offered so buyers can reduce inventory.
Before Loading
Once a container sails, a packing error is expensive to fix.
Every tin and jar is double X-ray scanned before packing, and your designated inspection agency checks the goods before shipment.

What is the biggest tin you produce?
3000G on fruit lines and 2840G on mushroom and vegetable lines, both packed 6 tins to a carton.
How many jars are in a carton?
Most jar formats are packed 12 jars to a carton. The 1062ML and 1700ML jars are packed 6 to a carton.
Can tins and jars be mixed in one order?
Yes. Many lines are available in both tins and jars, and both can be loaded in the same container.
How is brix chosen on fruit?
Three bands are available at 11 to 14, 14 to 17 and 18 to 22 percent, selected to match the sweetness your market expects.
Is LCL shipment possible?
Yes. Prices are based on a 1 x 20 foot FCL but LCL service is available to help customers reduce inventory.
