Construction and Installation To the Design Scheme
A cold store is system engineering made of precision components. Panels, plant, pipework and doors have to be installed strictly according to the design scheme, because each one depends on the tolerances of the others.

The build sequence follows the document pack: foundations and steel structure, then the insulated envelope, then refrigeration and pipework, then electrical, control and fire systems, then commissioning.
For export work Howcool sends installation supervision, and where the contract requires it, full crews — welders, electricians, refrigeration technicians and NDT inspectors — so the site is not dependent on local contractors who have never built a cold store.
Programme discipline is part of the scope. Our 3,000 m2 cold-chain logistics warehouse was completed in 90 days, and the 50,000 m3 Wuhan facility was delivered in two stages of 90 and 50 days while the client stayed operational.

Construction and Installation Questions
Do you install or only supply?
Both models are available. Equipment-only supply, installation supervision over the client's contractor, or full installation by Howcool crews.
How long does installation take?
It depends on scale. Reference programmes from delivered projects: 90 days for a 3,000 m2 logistics warehouse, 140 construction days across two stages for 50,000 m3 in Wuhan.
Can construction be phased around an operating facility?
Yes. Phased handover keeps part of the site running, as on the Wuhan two-stage project.
