Industrial Cubic Evaporator

Industrial Air Coolers and Evaporators For Cold Rooms

Evaporators are where the cooling actually reaches the product. Fin spacing, airflow direction and defrost strategy decide whether a room pulls down evenly or builds ice at one end of the racking.

Who It Is For

Typical Buyers Of This Equipment

  • Cold rooms with deep racking where throw distance matters
  • Freezer chambers needing electric or hot-gas defrost
  • Corridor and dual-zone layouts where two-way airflow saves space
  • Retrofit projects replacing coils without touching the plant room

Uneven temperature across the room

Cubic evaporators from 5 to 200 kW and dual-discharge coolers sized to throw air the full depth of the chamber.

Ice build-up and lost capacity

Defrost method matched to room temperature — electric for freezers, off-cycle for chillers.

Wasted floor area

Two-way airflow units mounted centrally cover both sides of a corridor layout from one position.

Air Cooler / Evaporator Questions

How is evaporator capacity selected?

From the room heat load, the design temperature difference between air and refrigerant, and the product pull-down requirement. Send room dimensions, target temperature and product type and our engineers size the coil.

What fin spacing should a freezer use?

Wider fin spacing is used for low-temperature rooms so that frost does not block airflow between defrost cycles; chillers can run tighter spacing for a smaller coil.

Can evaporators be supplied for an existing plant?

Yes. Coils are supplied to match an existing refrigerant, voltage and defrost arrangement for retrofit work.
