Every Step Where Orders Normally Go Wrong
Each stage below names the failure we see most often, and what we do differently at that point.
Site Review
Where it goes wrong: Replacement chain is ordered by diameter alone and then will not shackle to the existing grid.
What we do: We confirm the DIN pitch, grade and connector type already installed before quoting, so the new chain drops into the grid.
Grade Selection
Where it goes wrong: Mooring lines are often over or under specified because the design load is not tied to a chain grade.
What we do: Grade 50, 60 and 80 are quoted against the mooring design load rather than defaulting to one grade for the whole site.
Corrosion Protection
Where it goes wrong: Untreated chain corrodes through before a grow-out cycle finishes.
What we do: Zinc plated galvanized finish is used for anti-corrosion and longer service life, with stainless fittings at the permanently wet connections.
Trial And Supply
Where it goes wrong: Farms cannot commit container quantities to try a new supplier.
What we do: Minimum order is 100 metres and samples are available, so one line can be trialled before a full site refit.
Delivery
Where it goes wrong: Chain arriving in one long length has to be cut on the water.
What we do: Cut and drum lengths are supplied to match individual cage lines.

Can we order only part of the package?
Yes. The programme is how we normally run these orders, but individual items can be quoted on their own.
Do you handle export documentation?
Yes. Our documentation team prepares the shipping documents and the certificates that go with the goods.
How is pricing set?
We work directly with the manufacturers, which is what lets us quote factory-direct prices. Quotations are valid against the specification confirmed in writing.
What happens if the specification changes mid-order?
Tell us before production of that item starts. Grade, finish and certificate changes are easiest to apply at that point rather than after the item is made.
