Basic Overview Core Standards : Primarily complies with AS 2321 (Short-link chain for lifting purposes, latest edition AS 2321:2014). Link Types : Three standardized link configurations: Short Link , Medium Link , and Long Link . Materials : Mainly low-carbon steel, medium-carbon steel, and alloy steel for high-strength grades. Surface Treatments : Self-color, electro-galvanized, hot-dip galvanized, and black oxide. Size Range : Typically from 3 mm to 24 mm in link diameter. Safety Feature : Proof-tested to at least twice the Working Load Limit (WLL) for reliability.
