The water activated adhesive bonds into the carton fibres. Removing the tape tears the board surface, so any attempt to open and reseal the carton is visible.
Do I need a special dispenser
Water activated tape needs a dispenser that wets the adhesive. We supply manual and bench gummed tape dispensers. Self adhesive paper tape works with a standard tape gun.
Will it stick to recycled cartons
Yes. The adhesive sticks instantly to cardboard even if it is low grade, previously used or not entirely flat, which is where plastic tape usually fails.
