The square split pressing die set is a type of mold used to press powder materials into specific shapes (such as square, rectangular, or sheet forms), commonly used for forming and testing powder samples in laboratories.
Unlike traditional molds, the square split mold features a detachable design, with the core made up of four removable petals, allowing for easy removal of the pressed sample, especially when the sample is difficult to form or the material is hard and difficult to eject.
The mold is made of CR12 alloy tool steel, which provides a high level of smoothness and strong hardness. It is suitable for industries such as material science research, catalyst experiments, battery development, powder metallurgy, and pharmaceutical sample preparation.

Usage and Maintenance
- Before each use, clean the surface of the mold with lint-free paper to remove any anti-rust oil, as it may affect the accuracy of sample test results.
- Place the mold at the center of the tablet press, ensuring the applied pressure does not exceed the mold’s maximum pressure capacity.
- After use, promptly clean any remaining sample from the mold to prevent corrosion.
- If residual samples on the mold surface cannot be removed, avoid using chemical reagents for cleaning or soaking.
- For long-term storage, apply anti-rust oil to the mold and store it in a dry environment.
