Specification Mapping
Problem. An item is specified under one designation and quoted under another, and nobody is sure the units are the same.
How we handle it. Each design is catalogued under its GB and IEC or ANSI designations, so the equivalence is stated on the drawing rather than assumed.
Test Requirements
Problem. Type test evidence is requested after the order is placed and turns into a delay.
How we handle it. Type test reports are made available on request before the order. Routine test records for the production lot are issued with the shipment.
Production Traceability
Problem. A question arises in service and nobody can identify which batch a unit came from.
How we handle it. Units are marked with the type designation and production identification so they trace back to a production lot.
Consolidated Delivery
Problem. Multiple small orders across insulator families create freight cost and administration.
How we handle it. Mixed orders across types are consolidated into one shipment and quoted with the container loading.
