Questions About WiFi Hidden Cameras

Do these cameras need an internet connection to record?

For live remote viewing, yes. The camera joins a 2.4GHz WiFi network and the app connects through it. Models with a micro SD slot keep recording locally if the network drops, and the footage is on the card when connectivity returns.

Which app do the WiFi models use?

It varies by model and is listed on each product page. The WF-1080ULC uses MU Cam and the WF-1080WCL uses Camwf. Both are free and available for iOS and Android.

How many people can view one camera at once?

The WF-720PIR supports up to ten logged in users at the same time. For other models the source documentation does not state a figure, so ask us before you quote a customer.

Can I order a mix of WiFi and DVR models on one purchase order?

Yes. All fifty-three models ship from the same factory, so a mixed carton is normal and does not change lead time.
