Questions About DVR Hidden Cameras

Is a memory card included?

Generally no. The DVR-2KPNC has 16GB built in and the DVR-1080GTC has a 16GB DVR on board. Every other model takes a micro SD card that is not supplied with the product.

What happens when the card is full?

Models with loop recording, such as the DVR-1080PDC and the DVR-1080TIC, overwrite the oldest file and keep going. The overwrite function on the DVR-1080TIC is selectable.

How do I get the footage off the device?

Take the micro SD card out and read it on a computer, or connect the unit over USB where the model supports it. Files play in VLC, Windows Media Player or KM Player.

Can a DVR model record while charging?

On several models yes. The DVR-1080TIC supports recording while charging, and mains powered housings such as the DVR-1080AC charger run continuously from the wall socket.
