Getting The Unit Into Service
- Charge or connect power first. Battery models should be fully charged before the first placement; mains models simply run from the socket.
- Fit a micro SD card within the stated limit. Fitting a card larger than the model supports will not work, and cards are not supplied unless the specification says otherwise.
- Place for the lens, then check the frame. Set the unit where it needs to see, record a short test clip and review it before leaving it in position.
- Check the legal position before use. Recording rules differ by country and by room, and audio is usually regulated more tightly than video.
