Before the first sample

Target landed cost and the market it ships to. Reference product or drawing. Which parts sit on existing tooling. Tooling cost and ownership. Sample cost and sample lead time.

At sample approval

Pre-production sample built on production tooling. Written specification attached to the approved sample. Colour reference retained. Assembly trial completed and timed. Instruction sheet drafted and reviewed.

Before production

Carton drawing signed. Board grade and internal protection agreed. Artwork, barcodes and labels supplied in print-ready form. Loading plan confirmed. Inspection standard and AQL agreed.

Before you list the product

Written confirmation of any test reports or certificates for your destination market, per model. Photography taken from the approved sample rather than a prototype. Spare parts policy confirmed if the product has a moving part.

Every process description above reflects how Wanhao runs an order. Figures the factory has never published — lead times, capacity, certificate scope — are confirmed in writing at quotation rather than stated here.
