What This Covers

Packaging is a production step here, not an outsourced afterthought. The packaging workshop sits at the end of the same eight assembly lines, so a packing problem is found in the building rather than at a freight forwarder.

Process

Step By Step From Brief To Carton

Each stage below happens in our own plant, which is why a question at one stage can be answered by the team at the next.

  1. Pack definition

    Retail box, insert, manual, charging cable and accessories defined as a bill of materials. UQ33, for example, ships as watch, charging cable, user instruction and packing box.

  2. Artwork and compliance marks

    Box and label artwork prepared with destination market markings. Only marks the product genuinely holds are printed.

  3. Retail pack assembly

    Packs assembled and manual inserted on site.

  4. Carton and palletisation

    Export carton specification, carton marks and pallet configuration confirmed before booking.

  5. Pre-shipment inspection

    Packing standard and artwork checked against the approved sample.

  6. Booking and documents

    Shipment booked with the export documents the destination requires.

Outcome: Retail ready packs that clear customs and reach the shelf without a repack, on a 20-25 working day bulk lead time after deposit.

Where does this work happen

In our own Shenzhen plant. Molding, plastic injection, SMT, silk printing, final assembly and packaging are all in house.

What is the minimum order quantity

3,000 pcs per model.

How long does a programme take

Samples run 1 to 3 working days after payment. Bulk production runs 20 to 25 working days after the deposit is received.

Who owns the tooling on an ODM project

Tooling ownership is agreed in writing before the mould is cut. We do not leave it ambiguous.

Can you tell us what a change will cost before we commit

Yes. Every requested change is classified as software, firmware, tooling or new silicon, and those four cost very different amounts.
