What this family is for
These are point-monitoring instruments rather than weather stations. A console sits where somebody will read it and up to eight remote sensors report temperature, and on most models humidity, from the places that matter — refrigerated cabinets, a nursery, a wine cellar, a greenhouse, a pool. Channels are set with dip switches on the sensor, so commissioning is a switch and a location note. High and low alarms plus max/min memory are what make the family useful: they record and announce what happens when nobody is watching.
