A Shenzhen weather instrument factory, not a trading desk
Unit Connection Technology Co., Ltd (UCTECH) has been building wireless weather instruments since 2014. What started in Shenzhen now runs across two plants, and the engineering, the tooling decisions and the test rigs all sit inside them.
Where the company came from
UCTECH was established in 2014 around one idea: use electronics to let people feel what the weather is actually doing at their own address — the wind, the rain, the cold and the warmth — instead of reading a regional forecast. That is still what every product in the catalogue does. The Shenzhen plant covers 1,000 m². In 2021 a second, self-owned production base of more than 3,000 m² opened in Huizhou, which is where most volume production sits today.
How a unit gets built
The workshops run complete welding, assembly and packaging lines. Roughly 100 people work across the two sites. Every screw and every soldering joint is placed by hand on the assembly line, and the console is aged before it is packed — a burn-in that catches the early failures that would otherwise reach a customer months after shipment.
What we test with
Product quality in this category is decided by equipment, not by inspection sheets. We run rainfall and waterproof testing equipment for outdoor sensor housings, constant temperature and humidity chambers for the measuring elements, smog aging equipment, and vibration testing equipment for transport survival. A ten-person QC department inspects and tests in process rather than only at the end of the line.

The weather station range holds a GTS (Global United Technology Services) verification of compliance against the Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU, articles 3.1(a), 3.1(b) and 3.2, covering models FT0300, FT0301, FT0310, FT0311, FT0320 and FT0321, and a GTS test report against ETSI EN 301 489-1, -3 and -17 covering FT0830, FT0831, FT0835, FT0836, FT0870 and FT0871. An FCC grant of equipment authorisation was issued under FCC ID 2ALHJ-WS0300 for the weather station equipment class, 2412.0-2462.0 MHz. Measuring equipment is calibrated by Shenzhen HK Measure Detect Technique Co., Ltd.
What we do for OEM customers
With a strong R&D team and more than ten years of experience designing and manufacturing electronic products, UCTECH provides OEM and ODM services: own logo, own packaging, own console artwork, and new product development against a customer specification. MOQ is 300 to 1,000 pcs depending on the model, normal delivery time is 35 to 45 days, and the warranty is one year.
