Choosing the Right Capacity
Thirteen models is a lot to read through. This page reduces the decision to three questions: how much separated organic waste per day, what power supply is available, and how much floor space there is.
The Problem at Each Step and What Handles It
Stage 1 — 1 to 5 kg per day
A household or office kitchen with no outdoor space and no room for a pile.
TMK-1 at 1 kg/day on 450W, TMK-2 at 2 kg/day on 500W with dual 220V and 110V rating, TMK-5 at 5 kg/day on 650W. All AC220V 50Hz, all countertop footprint.
Stage 2 — 10 to 50 kg per day
A small restaurant, office canteen or community school kitchen on a standard single phase supply.
TMK-10 at 1 KW, TMK-30 at 1.2 KW and TMK-50 at 2.3 KW, all on AC220V 50Hz. The TMK-10 is stated to cover a site of about 50 people.
Stage 3 — 100 to 300 kg per day
A hotel kitchen, supermarket or busy canteen, where three phase power is available.
TMK-100 at 3 KW, TMK-200 at 6 KW and TMK-300 at 8 KW, all AC380V 60Hz, all with WiFi, touch screen and PLC control.
Stage 4 — 500 to 1000 kg per day
A large hotel, hospital, shopping centre or residential complex.
TMK-500 at 15 KW with a built-in bin lifter, TMK-1000 at 20 KW. Both add a lifting function to the fermentation and deodorization cycle.
Stage 5 — 2000 to 5000 kg per day
A food processing plant, municipality or military base measuring waste in tons.
TMK-2000 at 23 KW handling 750 tons per year, TMK-5000 at 25 KW handling 1800 tons per year with a dedicated deodorization unit.
If your daily figure sits between two models, take the larger one. The machines accept a continuous feed, so spare capacity absorbs a busy day instead of backing up into the bin room.

Should I size on the average day or the peak day
The peak day. A banqueting night or a busy market day is what backs a machine up, and the difference between two adjacent models is usually small next to the cost of an extra collection.
Which models run on single phase power
The TMK-1, TMK-2, TMK-5, TMK-10, TMK-30 and TMK-50 are specified on AC220V. From the TMK-100 upward the machines are specified at AC380V 60Hz.
How much floor space does each model need
Footprints range from 250 x 250 x 325 mm on the TMK-1 to 6500 x 2936 x 3095 mm on the TMK-5000. Exact dimensions and machine weight are listed on every product page.
