The Time Gap Is the Point

Traditional composting has to be stacked for more than 12 months. Rapid composting takes only 21 to 24 hours to complete the treatment. For any site that has to store waste while it waits, that difference is the difference between a workable programme and a permanent bin problem.

No Secondary Pollution

The whole process runs without wastewater, odourless and non-toxic. That matters because a waste solution that creates a second waste stream has not solved anything. It also removes the need to send litter and leaves to landfill, incineration or another treatment route.

How Enzymes Change the Timeline

There are two ways to stabilise the components in organic waste: composting and composting-free treatment. Composting requires a long time and a large space for natural microbial decomposition. Composting-free technology speeds the whole process up by applying enzymes. Using an enzyme produced by microorganisms, organic waste is converted into organic fertilizer in 24 hours while saving labour and cutting wastewater and odour generation.

What Can Be Composted

Compost raw materials come from organic waste, from the garden and the kitchen. Using a variety of ingredients gives a wider range of nutrients and a richer compost. Not everything organic belongs in a machine: keep plastics, metals, ceramics, solvents, large wood, large animal bones and cloth out.
