MOQ Lead Time and Payment Terms Explained

Flexible MOQ is a starting point, not a number

MOQ on a moulded product is driven by changeover: colour change, tooling setup and packaging print runs each have a minimum that has nothing to do with how many units you want. We accept low first quantities under a new brand, and the actual figure is quoted per SKU once the colourway and packaging are fixed. Sending those two details turns a vague MOQ question into a real number.

The 30 day clock does not start at the PO

Standard lead time is 30 days, counted from approved artwork and a signed sample. Buyers who treat the PO date as day zero lose two to three weeks to artwork revisions and sample courier time. Approve the artwork and sign the sample early and the 30 days behaves as advertised.

L/C and T/T solve different problems

T/T is faster and cheaper to administer and suits repeat orders where both sides know each other. An L/C costs more in bank charges but ties payment to documents, which is why it is common on a first order or a large one. Both are available; terms are confirmed on the proforma invoice for each order.

FOB Shenzhen and what it leaves to you

FOB Shenzhen means we deliver to the port and hand over documents; your forwarder handles the sailing, insurance and destination clearance. Have the forwarder appointed before production ends so the booking does not become the bottleneck.

Samples before the order

Sample cost and courier are quoted separately and are usually credited against a following production order. Order the sample at the same time you request the quote, not after you approve it.
