Cleaning a Mirror Polished Surface

Use only water and a soft cloth for routine cleaning. Abrasive pads or harsh cleaners will scratch the surface and ruin the finish. For fingerprints in a lobby, wipe with a damp cloth immediately to prevent residue buildup. The mirror finish reflects every mark, so cleaning must be done frequently in high-touch areas.

Cleaning a Brushed Surface

Clean along the grain using a soft cloth and water. Never clean across the grain, as this will create visible lines and damage the texture. Dust and rain marks accumulate in the grooves, so regular wiping maintains the surface appearance without altering the finish.

Cast Copper and Brass Patina

Over time, cast copper and brass develop a natural patina. This is a normal process and does not indicate damage. If the owner wants to keep the patina, no action is needed. If removal is desired, the surface can be re-polished locally, but this will alter the original appearance.

Repairing a Scratch on a Polished Surface

A small scratch can be locally re-polished without replacing the entire piece. This is possible because the finish is produced in house and the same process is used on site. The repair is discreet and matches the original finish when done correctly.

Protective Film During Site Work

Protective film is applied to polished faces before crating. Leave the film in place during site handling and installation. Remove it only after the piece is secured and no further handling is expected. Removing it too early risks damage from dust, tools, or accidental contact.
