The SB2012-A is a full length hand snow shovel for clearing driveways, footpaths and entrances, sold to retailers, facility teams and distributors who need a light tool that ordinary staff or householders can use for an hour without stopping. The 46cm by 35cm PP head clears a wide strip while the whole shovel weighs only 1.1kg, so the load in the hand is almost all snow rather than tool. Use Guide
- Push the blade along the surface first and only lift when the blade is loaded, to save the back
- Work in strips from the middle of the path outwards so snow is never lifted twice
- Keep the wrist straight in the D grip and turn with the feet rather than twisting the spine
- Do not use the PP blade to lever bonded ice off paving; break ice first with an ice tool
- Rinse salt off the head and handle and store dry at the end of the season
