A fully assembled pallet is a box of air with steel around the edges. Ship it assembled and you pay for the space between the deck and the feet, every time. Every pallet in our range is dismountable for precisely this reason: the dismountable design saves transportation cost.
What Ships and What Is Assembled
The decks, pillars and frames ship flat. Assembly happens on arrival and the pallets are easy to assemble and disassemble, so the work is a warehouse task rather than a fabrication job. Assemble on a flat floor and tighten the pillar fixings evenly before loading.
The Pillar Is the Part That Matters
A knock-down pallet lives or dies on the joint at the supporting pillar. Ours use a special reinforcement design in the pillar and seamless welding in hot dip galvanized steel, so the dismountable joint is not the weak point it would otherwise be.
Match the Footprint Before You Order
Our standard footprints are 1200 x 1000 x 125 mm, 1200 x 1000 x 135 mm, 1100 x 1100 x 135 mm and the American 48 x 40 x 5.3 inch. If your racking uses something else, a customized size is available without extra mould cost, so there is no tooling charge standing between you and a footprint that fits.
