Product Overview

This is a fatty alcohol ethoxylate family built on a C12-18 alcohol with 3 to 40 ethylene oxide units. Ten grades are published across three sub-series, A, MOA and O, spanning HLB 7.6 to 17.4. Low HLB grades work as water-in-oil emulsifiers for printing, dyeing and leather; mid grades serve as fibre oil components and defoamers; high HLB grades act as dispersants and levellers for textile printing, dyeing and metal cleaning.

Use Guide

Select on HLB: MOA-3 and A-5 for water-in-oil, MOA-9 and OS-15 for washing and penetration, A-20 through A-40 and the O grades for oil-in-water and dispersion.
Where a cloud point is published, keep the working temperature below it.
Two grades can be blended to hit an intermediate HLB.
Supplied in 25 kg bags and 100 or 200 kg pails as non-dangerous goods.
