Lapel Pins For Corporate Branding
Corporate pin orders fail for boring reasons: the logo was drawn for a website and will not strike at 25mm, the run is too small for most factories to quote, and next year's batch comes back a different shade of the brand colour. This page covers how a corporate badge order is actually specified and what keeps the second batch matching the first.

The Brief In This Setting
What Buyers Struggle With
- Brand guidelines specify colours that were never chosen with fired enamel in mind
- Recognition programmes need a few hundred pins, not a few thousand
- Logos with hairlines and gradients cannot be struck without being redrawn
- A reorder two years later has to match pins already on people's jackets
- Procurement needs a firm price before the design is finalised
What They Actually Need
- A supplier who will quote at programme quantities rather than bulk minimums
- An honest read on what the logo will look like once it is struck
- A colour reference retained so future batches are checked against it
- Packaging suitable for presenting an award rather than handing out a badge
- A lead time that survives contact with an event date

Process
How An Order Runs
- Send the logo, the quantity and the finished size you have in mind
- We review the artwork and say what will hold once it is struck
- You receive a quote covering size, process, plating and attachment
- A vector proof is issued and approved before the die is cut
- A pre-production sample is approved, generally within 3-5 days
- Mass production runs, generally 10-15 days after sample approval
- Pieces are packed as specified and despatched by FedEx, UPS or DHL
Logistics
Delivery And Packing
- Individual poly bags as standard so pins do not scratch each other in transit
- Velvet pouches, backing cards or boxes where the pin is presented as an award
- Mixed orders of pins, pendants and keychains packed and shipped together
- Carrier chosen against the destination and the date rather than by default
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum order?
100 pieces per design, across pins, coins, medals, keychains and patches.
How fast can you deliver?
Samples generally take 3-5 days and mass production generally takes 10-15 days after sample approval. Rush orders are accepted against an expedited fee.
Our logo has a gradient. Can it still be a pin?
Not in enamel, which needs a metal line between colours. Offset printing reproduces gradients, and we will say which route suits your mark once we have seen the file.
Will next year's batch match this year's?
The die and the approved colour reference stay on file, and the reorder is checked against that reference rather than re-mixed.
What artwork do you need?
Adobe Illustrator vector files are best because the die is cut from outlines. JPG, PNG and PDF are accepted and redrawn where the detail requires it.
