Epoxy work is resin plus hardener plus cure schedule. Changing any one of the three changes the other two, so we specify them together.
Six Steps From Requirement to Delivered Material
This is the sequence we actually work through with a customer, not an idealised diagram.
Start From the Epoxy Equivalent Weight
EEW sets the stoichiometry. Our resin table gives a controlled EEW band for every grade rather than a nominal number.
Decide One Component or Two
One component systems need a latent imidazole that stays inert until its activation temperature. Two component systems can use polyetheramine hardeners at ambient.
Check the Impurity Limits
Electronic and encapsulation work needs low total chlorine grades; low chlorine options are available at 1500 ppm or below.
Balance Toughness Against Hardness
Polyetheramine grades from D-230 to T-5000 trade hardness for elongation and impact resistance in a predictable way.
Confirm the Physical Form
Liquid, semi solid, solid, flake, powder and micronised powder are all available, so the material fits the mixing equipment.
Run a Sample Before Committing
Samples are free of charge with the customer covering shipping, and take about 7 days.

Do you charge for this technical support?
No. Product selection advice and formulation support are part of supplying the material, based on your application requirements, processing conditions and performance targets.
Can you supply everything in this process from one order?
Yes, where the materials are in our range. That is the main reason buyers consolidate: one purchase order, one packing list, one shipment.
What if none of your grades fit?
We will say so. Customised grades are possible through our OEM partners and specialised manufacturing facilities, and where they are not, we would rather tell you than sell you the nearest thing.
How quickly can we start?
Samples for validation take about 7 days. Mass production is 20-30 days after the deposit is received.
What are the commercial terms?
30% deposit in advance, 70% against a copy of the bill of lading. Bank transfer, Xtransfer or PayPal. All international orders carry a minimum order quantity.
