Why does purity matter so much for a chain extender?
Because the chain extender is a small part of the formulation with a large effect on the hard segment. At 99.8 percent purity and 0.05 percent maximum water, the variables that cause bubbles and soft spots are controlled.
What happens if the drum solidifies?
That is normal below 20 degrees C, the stated solid point. Warm the drum to redissolve; the material is a white waxy solid at low temperature by design.
What catalysts do you supply alongside BDO?
