The U70BLP carries 450 mm against 320 mm for the standard 70 kN disc, an increase of 41 percent at the same mechanical rating and the same 16 coupling size.
Will anti-fog discs fit my existing hardware?
The U70BLP uses 16 ball and socket coupling, the same as the standard U70BS, so it drops into existing hardware during a pollution upgrade. Spacing changes from 127 mm to 146 mm, which affects string length.
Is anti-fog the right profile for desert dust?
No. Deep under-ribs trap dry mineral dust. For sand and dust conditions the aerodynamic open-shed profile is correct.
