Start With The Circuit Table Not The Photograph

A photograph shows connector shapes and nothing else. What decides cost and lead time is the circuit table: which pin connects to which pin, the conductor gauge on each circuit, and the finished length of every leg. If you do not have that table, send the physical sample and we build it back for you before quoting.

Name The Connectors Or Send Them

Connector availability drives more harness redesigns than any electrical requirement. Give the manufacturer part numbers if you have them. Where a part is obsolete, equivalents from an existing connector kit range shorten lead time and reduce production cost, but the substitution has to be agreed before the sample, not after.

Say What The Harness Has To Survive

Cabinet interior, engine bay, underbody, wash down and outdoor installation are four different specifications. Temperature, vibration, fluid exposure and sealing requirement decide jacket material, whether breakouts are taped or overmoulded, and whether a sealed circular connector is needed instead of a rectangular housing.

Give A Real Quantity

Annual volume changes the tooling decision and the price. Small batch orders are accepted and quoted case by case, so an honest low number is more useful than an inflated one that sets up the wrong process.

Plan For Sample Confirmation

Sample orders ship within 3 days of confirmation and bulk production typically runs 7 to 12 days. Fit the sample to your own assembly before releasing volume. The approved sample then becomes the reference for repeat orders, which is what keeps builds identical years later.
