Product Overview
The CYMJ-2 1 joins wood panels using heat and pressure in a single operation. It uses four-sided pressing to create seamless joints, improving panel smoothness and structural strength. The machine is built from two high carbon steel plates for long service life. It handles one panel at a time, with maximum dimensions of 2500 mm width, 1300 mm length, and 4 to 30 mm thickness. It operates at a rated temperature of 120 to 150 ℃ and uses hydraulic pressure up to 22 MPa. The pressing cycle is either automatic or semi-automatic.
Key Benefits
- One panel processed per cycle with four-sided pressure for a seamless joint
- High carbon steel plates ensure long service life under repeated use
- Heat and pressure applied simultaneously to improve joint strength and surface smoothness
- Rated temperature range of 120 to 150 ℃ supports consistent bonding across different wood types
- Automatic or semi-automatic operation reduces manual handling and operator fatigue
- Max oil pressure of 22 MPa ensures consistent clamping force during pressing
Application Scenarios
- A wood board plant adding a jointing step to improve panel integrity before finishing
- A sawmill upgrading from manual clamping to a controlled heat pressing process
- A factory producing furniture-grade panels requiring smooth, seamless joints
- A production line needing a reliable, repeatable jointing method without operator variation
Who It Is For
- Sawmills and wood board manufacturers
- Furniture panel producers
- Wood processing plants with high-volume jointing needs
- Factories integrating jointing into a continuous panel production line
Problems It Solves
- Manual jointing with clamps or glue only leads to inconsistent pressure and visible seams
- Lack of heat in bonding results in weak joints that fail under stress or moisture
- Inconsistent pressure across the panel causes uneven glue distribution and joint failure
- No automated system means slow output and high labor cost per panel
- Manual methods cannot maintain temperature control during pressing, affecting glue cure
Technical Features
- Four-sided pressing system with up and down pressure of 300 T and side pressure of 20 T
- Hydraulic system with maximum oil pressure of 22 MPa for stable clamping
- Heating system operating at 120 to 150 ℃ for controlled glue curing
- Automatic or semi-automatic cycle control for consistent operation
- Two high carbon steel plates form the main frame for durability and rigidity
- Adjustable pressing time and temperature settings to match different wood and adhesive types

Materials
- Wood panels with thickness between 4 mm and 30 mm
- Wood glue suitable for heat-activated bonding
- High carbon steel plates used in the machine frame
- Hydraulic oil for the press system
Manufacturing And Process
Step 1
Place the wood panel into the machine with the joint edges aligned
Step 2
Set the pressing temperature to 120 to 150 ℃ and pressure to 22 MPa
Step 3
Select automatic or semi-automatic mode and start the cycle
Step 4
The four-sided press applies up and down and side pressure simultaneously
Step 5
Heat and pressure are maintained for the set time to cure the adhesive
Step 6
After the cycle ends, open the press and remove the joined panel
Quality Control
- Hydraulic pressure maintained at 22 MPa during pressing to ensure uniform clamping
- Temperature monitored during the cycle to stay within 120 to 150 ℃ range
- Sample joints tested for strength and seam quality before machine shipment
- Free sample testing available using the buyer’s own wood and glue
- Installation and operation training provided to ensure correct setup and cycle timing
Customization Options
- Voltage and phase configured for the destination market
- Adjustable temperature and pressure settings for different glue types and wood species
- Machine can be quoted as part of a larger timber wood processing line
- Frame and tooling can be adapted for specific panel size ranges
Compared With The Alternatives
| Manual clamping with glue and hand pressure | Manual jointing lacks consistent pressure and heat, leading to weak or visible seams |
|---|---|
| Single-side press machine | A single-side press cannot create a seamless joint across the full panel width and thickness |
| CYMJ-3 Wood Panel Heat Pressing Machine | The CYMJ-3 supports up to 2500 mm width and 1300 mm length, same as this model, but may have different pressure or control options |
Use Guide
- Ensure the panel edges are clean and properly aligned before pressing
- Use glue rated for 120 to 150 ℃ curing to match the machine’s temperature range
- Check hydraulic oil level and pressure before each shift to maintain consistent performance
- Set the pressing time based on glue manufacturer’s recommendations and wood thickness
- Contact us on WhatsApp for the English operation video if the operator is new to heat pressing
