What BL-NA01 Is
BL-NA01 is an aqueous solution of sodium methyl siliconate and is used in diluted form for the impregnation of mineral construction materials to make them water-repellent. It develops its water-repellent properties by reaction with atmospheric carbon dioxide. The active substance formed from the silicone masonry water repellent is polymethyl silicic acid. It is suitable for the surface of natural stone, like sandstone, limestone, and red brick, gray brick, granite, ceramics etc.; it is not suitable for polished or glazed surfaces.
