Shower Timers

Every other product on this site works on the plumbing. A timer works on the person. Stick one to the tiles and the shower acquires a visible end point, which is why water utilities and housing programmes hand them out by the carton. The range splits in two: digital ABS units with an alarm and a clock that counts up or down, shaped as water drops, houses, stars, ducks and frogs; and sand timers in ABS and acrylic at four and five minutes, with no battery and no display to fail.

Two technologies, two jobs
Digital units count up or count down and sound an alarm, which suits an adult trying to hit a target. Sand timers just run out, which is what works with children and in unsupervised public showers.

Made to be given away
Packing is stated per product — colour box, 100 pieces to a carton at 55*27*26.5cm, gross and net weight 12/7.5 kgs on the character timers. These are numbers a procurement officer needs before a bulk order.

Sticks where it can be seen
The digital units carry a suction cup on the back for smooth surfaces, and the round sand timer sticks to a smooth place. Neither one needs a fixing or a hole in the tile.

Digital or sand for a school or campsite?
Sand. There is no battery to go flat, no display to break, and nothing worth stealing. The four-minute PVC, glass, ABS and sand unit is made for exactly this.
How are they packed for bulk shipment?
The house and star timers pack one piece to a PE bag and a white box, 100 pieces to a 57*33*25 carton at 10/8 kgs gross and net. The duck and frog timers use a colour box at 100 pieces per carton, 12/7.5 kgs.
What times do the sand timers run?
Four minutes on the PVC and glass unit, five minutes on the heart, round and plain acrylic timers.
