A processing line fails at the joints, not in the machines. We specify the whole circuit from one throughput figure so vessel volumes, heat exchange capacity, pump duty and filling speed agree with each other.

Capacity Brief
Quotations arrive machine by machine with no shared basis.
We start from litres per hour, product type and shift pattern, and size every stage from that one number.
Line Layout
Equipment is bought before the floor plan is settled.
Vessel positions, pump runs and CIP returns are laid out before anything is ordered.
Equipment Selection
Plate equipment is specified for products with pulp.
Plate for clear liquids, tubular for pulp and particles, and the pumps chosen to match.
Utilities
Steam, chilled water and compressed air are costed late.
Boiler, chiller, cooling tower and compressor duties are included in the same package.
Factory Testing
Faults are found after the container is opened.
Vessels and skids are tested and photographed before packing, with the report sent to you.
Installation Support
Drawings arrive but nobody can answer questions during commissioning.
Installation drawings, wiring diagrams and engineer support by WhatsApp during start-up.

Where does this process start?
With a written specification. Until the requirement is written down, quotations from different factories cannot be compared, because they are not answering the same question.
Do you charge for the sourcing work separately?
Tell us the scope at enquiry and we will be clear about how the commercial arrangement works before any work starts.
What happens if the goods fail inspection?
They do not ship. The problem is raised with the factory in Shanghai, where it costs a fraction of what it costs after the container has sailed.
Can you work with a factory we have already found?
Yes. Inspection, specification control and consolidation can be applied to a supplier you already use.
How long does the process take?
It depends on the product and whether tooling is involved. We confirm a schedule in writing with the quotation rather than quoting a standard lead time.
